This week in Cooking Club, we had a fantastic time making a delicious pasta bake! We headed down to the New Leaf building to use the kitchen facilities, which gave us plenty of space to cook together.
During the session, we practiced safe cutting techniques, using the bridge and claw methods to carefully chop peppers and ham. It was great to see the children from Class 1 and Class 2 showing such kindness and responsibility as they supported the younger children throughout the activity.
Once everything was prepared, we stirred the tasty sauce into the cooked pasta and had fun choosing our own toppings to make each pasta bake unique. At the end of the session, everyone took their pasta bake home to enjoy for tea!
