Year 5 children have continued their science unit, animals including humans focusing on life span and reproduction.
Children have recapped their knowledge on the life cycle of plants and have begun to think about how plants reproduce.
Children created an animation to show the answer to the enquiry, “how do plant spread their seeds?” They used scientific vocabulary such as: Germinatjon (growth of a seed) and Seed Dispersal (how seeds travel so they can prepare for germination.)
Children enjoyed using ICanAnimate to show their understanding and even showed it through fictional ‘seed’ characters/families.
